Register for Your Credential Exam
Congratulations on taking the first step toward certification with the National Medical Accreditation and Certification Board (NMCAB). This page will help you through the registration process so you can schedule your exam & get started.
Registration Steps
- Create or Log in to Your NMCAB Account
If you’re new, you’ll need to register for an account. If you already have one, simply log in. - Review Credential Options
Browse the list of credentials (NAC™) and their descriptions, fees, and exam details. You can see what credential matches your goals and eligibility. - Check Eligibility
Before registering, make sure you meet one of the eligibility pathways:- Completion of approved education/training
- Relevant work experience
- Prior credential or combined training/experience
- Specialty prerequisites, if required
- Select Your Credential and Exam Date / Location
Pick the credential you wish to pursue. Choose an exam date or delivery method (online, onsite, proctored, etc.) as offered. - Submit Required Documentation
Upload transcripts, proof of training, employer verification, or prior credential details as needed. - Pay Registration Fee
Pay the exam/registration fee for your chosen credential. All fees are listed in the credential chart. - Receive Confirmation
Once your registration is processed and eligibility verified, you’ll get a confirmation email or message with exam instructions and resources.
Things to Know
- Refund Policy: Registration and exam fees are non-refundable once processed. If cancellation is allowed, it must be done within a certain time frame (check credential-specific policy).
- Rescheduling: If you need to change your exam date, contact NMCAB support; a rescheduling fee may apply.
- Exam Format & Duration: Each credential has its own exam outline. Be sure to review the test blueprint so you know what topics are covered.
- Technical Requirements: If the exam is delivered online or remotely proctored, ensure you have a stable internet connection, a working webcam, and any required software installed ahead of time.
- Special Accommodations: If you require accommodations (e.g., extra time, accessible format), please request these at least X days in advance (specify your policy).
