The National Medical Certification and Accreditation Board (NMCAB) is committed to transparency, compliance, and fairness. Our policies ensure that candidates, employers, and schools clearly understand their rights and responsibilities when working with NMCAB credentials.


Non-Discrimination Policy

NMCAB does not discriminate against any applicant, candidate, certificant, school, or employer on the basis of:

  • Race, ethnicity, or nationality
  • Gender or gender identity
  • Age
  • Religion or belief
  • Disability or health status
  • Socioeconomic or educational background

All individuals are evaluated solely on their ability to meet NMCAB’s published eligibility, exam, and renewal standards.


Privacy Policy

  • Candidate and employer information is kept confidential and used only for certification-related purposes.
  • Exam results and credential status are disclosed only to the candidate, unless permission is granted or verification is requested through the public registry.
  • NMCAB complies with HIPAA and applicable data protection regulations.

Terms of Use

By using NMCAB services, including exams, registry, and website:

  • Candidates agree to follow the Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct.
  • Employers and schools agree to use credential verification and registry services only for lawful hiring or educational purposes.
  • Unauthorized duplication, distribution, or misuse of NMCAB exam materials or intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

Intellectual Property

  • All NMCAB logos, seals, certificates, and credential names (NAC™) are protected trademarks.
  • Credentials may not be altered, falsified, or reproduced without authorization.
  • Any misuse of NMCAB trademarks or credentials may result in legal action.

Complaint & Appeal Rights

All candidates and credential holders have the right to file:

  • Complaints regarding misconduct, ethical violations, or policy breaches.
  • Appeals of exam results, eligibility denials, renewal denials, or disciplinary decisions.

  • Employers retain final responsibility for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
